Dana O’Neil has been a preeminent voice on college basketball for more than 25 years. A proud Penn State alum, Dana covered a multitude of sports for the Philadelphia Daily News before becoming a national college basketball reporter for ESPN in 2007 and then the Athletic in 2017. A 2021 inductee into the United States Basketball Writers Association Hall of Fame, Dana has authored three books, including two on Villanova men’s basketball. Last September, she became Villanova’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communication.

Ashley welcomes Dana O’Neil, Villanova’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communication, on OUTFOXED. As the name suggests, Ash and Dana trade war stories of their groundbreaking careers in sports media - we laughed, we cried, we felt our jaws hit the floor, and more than all of those things, we felt really proud to be women doing the damn thing. A spicy one to end Season 1 — we can’t wait for you to hear it.

David Aldridge has spent more than 30 years in sports media reporting on the National Basketball Association, among other things, for Turner, ESPN, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Washington Post. Currently a senior columnist for The Athletic, Aldridge is a native and life-long resident of Washington, D.C., father of two boys and husband. My personal favorite from Aldridge’s impressive resumé is that he is the sideline reporter on NBA2K, which makes him animated DA. And he is the author of a book, Basketball 100.

Ashley welcomes David Aldridge, senior columnist for The Athletic, on OUTFOXED.
