A New Era (Mostly the Same)

We have officially broken into our next 100 episodes! Which mostly means that nothing will really change. We kick things off with reactions to Nintendo's latest Direct which came out the day after the 40th Anniversary Zelda Direct. Jacob has been on a backlog-clearing streak to justify replaying a past game. Meanwhile, Adam continues his journey through Horizon Zero Dawn by getting another copy of it. We also spend time discussing Control: Resonant. Adam dives into the Oldest House once again, while Jacob patiently waits for his delayed physical copy. Last but not least, an obligatory Taskmaster plug at the end. Games Discussed Kirby and the World Beyond Metroid Ravenous Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Persona 4 Revival Persona 6 Resident Evil (Switch 2 releases) Monster Hunter Wilds Pikmin 4 Professor Layton and the New World of Steam Mario Kart World Star Fox Kingdom Come: Deliverance Death Squared Spider-Man 2 Darwin's Paradox Alan Wake Remastered Viewfinder Four Last Things The Procession to Calvary Death of the Reprobate Thank Goodness You're Here! What Are We Playing Before Control?

*Apologies for Jacob's poor audio. Mistakes were made with recording devices. Jacob promises it won't happen again until it happens again. It's a simple episode of reviewing the games we've playing, trying to convince Jacob to play Red Dead Redemption 2, some retro games, pinball, the GTA 6 teaser and SteamOS. All of this to fill in our time before we get Control: Resonant. Games Discussed: Grand Theft Auto VI Red Dead Redemption 2 Detroit: Become Human Mecha Chameleon The Eternal Life of Goldman Splatoon Raiders Rhythm Heaven Groove Dave the Diver: In the Jungle Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Idle Obelisk Miner Denshattack! NieR: Automata UFO 50 Balls of Steel Opus Magnum Tiny Bookshop Tomorrow Never Dies Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Marvel's Spider-Man 2
