Odds are other kids born before 2000 in the Cleveland-area heard similar stories from grandparents. As a baseball fan, I love reading about and seeing pictures of these old stadiums, often nestled in neighborhoods with houses and small businesses all around. </p> <p>Unlike many old stadiums, remnants of League Park remained after the Indians left. It was used as a practice facility for the Cleveland Browns and amateur baseball. The facility fell into a state of disrepair, until efforts were made to <a href= "https://www.cleveland.com/tribe/2014/08/league_park_reopens_to_a_histo.html"> renovate the field, which re-opened in 2014</a>.</p> <p><a href="http://www.leaguepark.info/">League Park website</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/LeaguePark">Facebook Page for League Park</a></p> <p>Ken Krsolovic is the co-author of this <a href= "https://amzn.to/30tn5lh">great book</a>. Ken grew up in Euclid and has been around the game of baseball his entire life.
