A not as popular as Think and Grow Rich book by Napoleon Hill.
I came to this book recently and as I’m reading it, decided to turn each chapter into an episode for your listening and learning pleasure.
To help you activate your ‘other self.’
To get you to the life you want.
This is not a polished podcast. It’s raw and unedited. But sounds great.
Equipment—Mic: Sennheiser MKH416.

I’m your reading host Billy Champion.
Episodes to flow starting today (all goes well), or latest 27-10-24. And then an episode every day until the book chapters are complete.

EP12: Environment, Time, Harmony & Caution - #OTDP Chapter 12
Episode twelve of Outwitting the Devil Podcast.
This is the twelfth episode.
Chapter twelve of a worthwhile book by Napoleon Hill. Relevant to our current times and lives.
This is the final chapter of the book, before the summary and after-word and secret chapter.
They always say, you're the product of your environment. Well now you can learn in detail and with a deeper understanding, what that truly means.
About surrounding yourself and your children with people who are not only of a positive mindset.
But people with a definiteness of purpose. Because as they say, success breeds success.
In brief...
"Hypnotic Rhythm solidifies and makes permanent the thought-habits of human beings. Thought-habits are stimulated by environmental forces.
In other words, the material on which thoughts are fed, comes from one's environment. Thought-habits are made permanent by hypnotic rhythm"
This is why to be successful, you have to first master your mind and have definiteness of purpose, while surrounding yourself with similar success focused (positive) influences or non-drifters.

EP11: Learning from Adversity - #OTDP Chapter 11
Episode eleven of Outwitting the Devil Podcast.
This is the eleventh episode.
Chapter eleven of a worthwhile book by Napoleon Hill. Relevant to our current times and lives.
In this episode, I do go on a few (sometimes) long but relevant to the section tangents, to comment further on what Hill had written.
Learning from mistakes, failures, adversity, is a constant part of life. Because to be alive is to continuously grow. To grow and get stronger, you need adversity.
This makes "adversities" one of your greatest allies.
To help you restart sometimes, when you've taken the wrong turn toward bringing into reality,
the vision of your purpose, due to the habit of drifting.
In brief...
"Failure is a state of mind..."
Use the natural law of "hypnotic rhythm" on your focus on your definiteness of purpose, to guide and help you in attaining whatever vision you've set for your life.
"...this law gives permanency to the thoughts which dominate those minds..."
The more you think positive with no loss of enthusiasm in your quest of definiteness of purpose, when things don't go as planned, the more you employ this natural law to take over and help you get there.
The opposite of course is also true.
This law of hypnotic rhythm helps non-drifters succeed, and accelerate failure in drifters.

To move in life with definiteness of purpose, one must gain Mastery of one's self.
By mastering the 3 appetites responsible for most peoples bout of self-discipline.
In brief...
"The three appetites are (1) the desire for food, (2) the desire for expression of sex, (3) the desire to express loosely organised opinions..."
Master these top 3 appetites, and you'll be equipped with the self-discipline to master the appetites of lesser importance.
