OFFICE is zowel werkzaam in België als internationaal. Het staat bekend om zijn eigenzinnige architectuur, waarin realisaties en theoretische projecten naast elkaar staan. In 2008 vertegenwoordigden Kersten Geers en David Van Severen België op de 11de Architectuurbiënnale in Venetië, een project waarin ook een werk van Thomas Demand geïntegreerd werd.</p>

<p>Met architect <strong>Freek Persyn</strong> spreekt Valerie Verhack onder meer over Thomas Demands Kvadrat paviljoenen.</p><p>Freek Persyn is architect en medeoprichter van het Brusselse bureau <a href="https://www.51n4e.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">51N4E</a> alsook professor aan de <a href="https://ethz.ch/en.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ETH </a>in Zürich. Zijn interessegebieden richten zich onder meer op de veelzijdige processen van de stad, via het ontwerpen van gebouwen, van publieke ruimte en van infrastructuur. Freek Persyn werkte met 51N4E samen met Thomas Demand, het Londonse architectenbureau <a href="https://carusostjohn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Caruso St John</a> en het Parijse bureau <a href="http://www.laucparis.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">l’AUC </a>een architecturaal voorstel uit voor <a href="https://kanal.brussels/en" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">KANAL </a>in Brussel.</p>
