Founded by designer and enamel pro Eriks in 2024 (after launching his private atelier back in 2017), this brand is doing some seriously cool things to bring a modern vibe to an ancient craft. The Art & Agony of Grand Feu: We nerd out on the three main stages of enameling: grinding, applying, and firing at a blazing 800°C. Ethan explains how just one degree of temperature change, a single extra second in the kiln, or even micro-impurities can completely destroy a dial.
Surviving the Failure Rate: Making enamel dials isn't for the faint of heart. We talk about their 1-in-3 success rate for basic dials, which drops to a wild 1-in-5 for complex ones. Ethan even shares a story about failing over 60 prototypes just to nail one specific texture.
The DUET Collection: We get hands-on with their newest release. Ethan breaks down the unique sandwiched silver ring construction, the hand-engraved bases on the Rhapsody and Submarine Canyon colorways, and why they made a last-minute swap to the brand-new SW210 Power+ movement for that sweet 65-hour reserve.
Enamel on the Movement: Breaking the rules a bit, Eriks and the team figured out how to fire an enamel brand nameplate right onto the movement rotor. It looks amazing.
