Deze week kreeg het zogeheten E1-plan groen licht in Israël: een project voor de bouw van 3.400 woningen op de bezette Westelijke Jordaanoever. Minister van Financiën Bazalel Smotrich zei dat dit plan een Palestijnse staat definitief zal ‘begraven’. Daarmee reageerde hij op de groeiende groep landen die Palestina als staat hebben erkend. Te gast is antropoloog en Israël-kenner Erella Grassiani, verbonden aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.
