Capítol 51: La riuada del Vallès de l’any 1962
Després d'una llarga temporada de sequera, el dia 25 de setembre de l'any 1962 va arribar la pluja i ho fa fer amb força. Es van acumular fins a 240 litres per metre quadrat en menys de 3 hores. Una situació de pluges torrencials que van fer créixer de manera sobtada els trams finals del Llobregat i el Besòs i els seus afluents, i va provocar el desastre natural més greu a casa nostra, amb un miler de morts. Després de tot plegat, ara, 62 anys després de la riuada, l'Ajuntament de Terrassa ha iniciat una acció amb diversos objectius: retre homenatge a totes les víctimes, engegar la recerca d'infants desapareguts i identificar les víctimes que encara no ho estan.

Capítol 50: Pic de calor històric del juliol de 2023
El dia 18 de juliol de l'any 2023 es va batre a Catalunya el rècord de temperatura més alta mai registrada. Es van arribar als 45,1 °C a les estacions meteorològiques de Navata i del Pantà de Darnius (a l'Alt Empordà). Una massa d'aire molt càlida combinada amb un vent de garbí reescalfat i sec va disparar els termòmetres en aquest punt del país, batent, amb escreix, un nou rècord.
