INDYCAR IS BACK! This week we discuss the winners and losers of St. Pete, along with our first Pyramid of the season. We get into the new Chevy engine, and if Roger Penske has locked his drivers in the kitchen for the season, a la Carmy from The Bear. We also have several asides into the interesting directorial choices into the lives of drivers in the off-season mid-race.

This week, we sat down with IndyCar driver David Malukas to discuss racing and life. We talk about his connecting with younger fans and his unique online presence, as well address the F*** Boy rumors floating around Twitter (curated by the Bus Bros - and maybe us a little bit). The conversation bounces around to music, movies, and a very long matcha conversation. Our fellow Illinois native gives opinions on 100 Days to Indy, the best snacks, and the ideal white noise before races.

Indy500 Qualifying and Will Power Perfection
After a week off, we get together over Zoom to discuss qualifying for the Indianapolis 500! Rachel learns qualifications in real time as she is currently off the grid and unable to watch or listen to any race, and discuss what driver we think would be the best Vineyard Vines model. We then dive into the 4th episode of 100 Days to Indy, which focuses on our pisces king, Will Power, and his perfect wife Liz.

F1 Miami GP, 100 Days to Indy, & the Zibs
This week we dive back into the world of Formula One to discuss the Miami GP and all its happenings. There is a F1 drivers Dance Mom's Pyramid, and some rankings may shock you (others will not). In a Paddock Pundits special, we spend the second half of the episode discussing the second episode of 100 Days to Indy. We guess what instrument Colton Herta would play in high school band before discovering what instrument he plays in his real life band. Rachel shares her mom's newfound love of Pato O'Ward.

The IndyCar Triple P stays strong this week with another great ranking from the Barber race. There is 100% favoritism this week but it's deserved. Rachel does a number of questionable accents and American stereotypes throughout the entirety of the episode. After the Barber recap, the gals dig into the first episode of 100 Days to Indy and discuss all things Josef Newgarden (only kind of). We compare 100 Days to Indy to Drive to Survive and how F1 fans might find the show, and how Kate always cries while watching sports documentaries.

Formula One IndyCar Team Comparisons
This week, we compared F1 and IndyCar teams to try and draw similarities and give comparisons for F1 fans looking to get into IndyCar (or vice versa)! We shout out some special listeners and supporters in the beginning - very big thanks to all y'all who are listening and following us on socials (@paddockpundits on all platforms). We try to give a brief history on the teams before we get completely sidetracked talking about tractors, clutch pedals, and a confusing notes Rachel leaves in the agenda. Rachel uses this episode as a soapbox for Scott Dixon being the GOAT. We're super excited for Barber tomorrow after Baku, so take a nap between races and tune in tomorrow for the IndyCar race!

IndyCar Long Beach and the Triple P Crown
"It's student-podcaster, not podcaster-student." We're sorry for the delay in uploading, it's been a crazy exam week and we appreciate all our new support and patience. We've got another IndyCar episode for y'all with a triple p dance mom's drivers pyramid. We talk push to pass strategies that played out in the top 5, and what our victory lap song would be after the iconic NBC soundtracks that play during the races. We're also continuing to push big radio's agenda (we just love listening to the race like farmers sitting out on the porch watching the storm roll in). We also look back at our astrology predictions to see which ones played out, and where the stars were wrong.

Everything's Bigger in Texas & Looking Long (Beach)
It's our first full IndyCar episode! We (Rachel and Kate) have a full debrief for the chaos that was the Texas PPG 375. Because it was a weekend of chaos in IndyCar, F1, and our lives, Rachel describes the beauty of listening to an IndyCar race on the radio, old school. We also have our first IndyCar Dance Moms Pyramid, and the results are shocking. After the pyramid, we dig into the grid astrology for the upcoming race at Long Beach and what the stars tell us to expect, but we spend most of the episode fangirling over our Pisces king Will Power.

F1 Australian GP Debrief: Getting Down Down Under
Kate and Rachel dig into the Australian GP and also their weekend experiences trying to watch/hear the race. We highlight Valtteri's Aboriginal helmet design and Oscar Piastri's grandma. The time difference was hard on us and we forget most of the reasoning for the Dance Moms Driver Scores, but stand by the sleep-deprived decisions. Astrology tell-all for the Alliterative Alex Albon's Aries placement and our uncanny ability to find out who is a leo in a room full of people.

Formula One vs. IndyCar: More Similar Than You'd Think?
This week is a special treat from the Pacific Northwest: Rachel flies solo (literally and figuratively). The pp gals got split up this week, and Rachel was on the pod research grind at the airport, leading to this episode. She tackles the differences between Formula One and IndyCar, breaking some ideas down for those more familiar with F1. Most importantly, we talk about the significance of the narrative and the heart for fanbases.
