Podcast Overview

Are you making the most of your pain? James 1: 2-4 says that we should consider it pure joy when we face many trials because trials test our faith and produce perseverance. These verses challenge us to surrender to the purpose of pain so we can be mature, complete and lack nothing. Join me Brenda K Nayiga as I discuss the relationship between pain and purpose. As I embark on this journey, I will reflect on the lives of various bible characters as well as my personal experience to reveal how all things work together for good and for those who love God and are called according to purpose.

Episode 11: Victorious

Merry Christmas and Happy new year!!

In this episode I reflect about 2025; how I started and how its wrapping up. I use the story in Daniel 3 to highlight how God is with us through the fire. This year to me has been a furnace of fire but one thing I have learnt or became more aware of is that God was with me in it.

At the top of the year; God made it known to me that I have victory and that anchored me throughout the year. Indeed how you start the year determines how you end. Therefore, join me as I reflect and hopefully you use this episode to reflect on 2025 and set up the foundation for 2026.

Episode 10: Fruitful Waiting

In this episode, explore the fruits of waiting on God, and how His timing always leads to an abundant harvest.

Using the story of Hagar as a guide, I reflect on what it means to feel unseen in the wilderness, desperate for answers, yet still chosen by God to carry His promise forward. Hagar’s encounter with “the God who sees me” reminds us that waiting is not wasteit is the place where faith is deepened, identity is restored, and God’s provision is revealed. Waiting may stretch us, but in God’s hands it produces life, hope, and purpose.

Episode 9: Perception and Obedience

In a world consumed by corruption and spiritual blindness, Noah stood out not because he conformed, but because he perceived God’s voice above the noise. In this episode, we explore the profound tension between human perception and divine instruction. Genesis 6 reveals a man who chose obedience not because he understood every detail, but because he trusted the One who did.

We’ll dive into how Noah’s story challenges us today:

How do we respond when God’s call contradicts our current reality?

Can we walk in obedience even when the world sees no reason to?

What does it mean to perceive through faith rather than sight?

Noah’s faith wasn’t built on proof; it was built on trust. His obedience, though costly, positioned him as a vessel for salvation and legacy.

Join me as I reflect on how God is still looking for people who will say “yes” before the rain comes and people who perceive through faith and obey without delay.
