Podcast Overview

Self-knowledge and understanding is a lifelong quest. This is a space to pause and reflect on life – asking the hard questions, being honest with the answers, while always being patient and kind with yourself. Sharing personal reflections about life, relationships, faith, maybe food, sometimes the dogs … through the eyes of an introvert-novice-at-life-ordinary girl. I’d love to hear your stories too. 11: Cultivating Virtues by Ben Franklin

Another system I find useful is Benjamin Franklin's weekly virtue practice. I think virtues need to be cultivated. You can't say you want to be a good person, then just expect that it will come naturally to you. If you want to hit a sales target, you work everyday to reach that.  If you want to become a better person, you have to work on it everyday. You have to work to cultivate it. E-mails welcome at pajamareflections@yahoo.com

After all, we are dying (or living) everyday.   So, I share two weekly (sometimes monthly) practice I do to keep myself in check. A weekly reflection and a weekly strategy practice.  E-mails welcome at pajamareflections@yahoo.com
