   Robert March and I worked at the same restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the same time — he was a cook, I was a waitress. We'd chat from time to time and discovered we shared some esoteric interests. One day he called me out of the blue and said he'd dreamed about me and felt he should get to know me better. Would I like to go on a picnic? We had a grand picnic, became dear friends, bonded by a shared love of dance, healthy food, and the blend of the sensual and the spiritual — the heart opening in the fire of service, the devotion of spirit moving through the breath of God. We also believed in the power of dreams. In this episode of Pan de Dios Moments, Robert shares his story — of a 7-year-old boy who felt God in a church, of spiritual teachers in India, of a lifetime of seeking and finding the divine.    Hooly and Fairly, Mindfully in Recovery Pan de Dios Moments with Christina Johnson (Ep. 8)

   Sometimes the best way forward is to go slow. In 2012, I had a spinal surgery that was a real crisis. The surgeon made a mistake. A bone spin went directly to my lumbar area and froze my nerves, leaving me paralyzed on the right side. I was told I would probably never walk again. And I would certainly never dance tango again. But I had a word that carried me through: hooly. It's a Scottish word for taking it very cautiously and slow. With tiny circles of my toes, with meditation and yoga, with a tango partner who never gave up on me—I began to move again. From a wheelchair. From canes. From tiny, tiny steps.     The Certainty with Chipper Roth (Ep. 3)

    About This Episode Chipper Roth was thirteen years old, sitting on a cushion in San Miguel de Allende, watching a slideshow of orchid collecting in Nepal. She had never heard of Nepal. But when the image of the Himalayas appeared—the monastery, the Yeti skull, the monks chanting—something inside her cracked open. An epiphany. This is where I'm going. This is where I'm supposed to spend my life. It took thirteen years to get there. At twenty-six, after studying with B.K.S. Iyengar and then with Rajneesh in India, she boarded a bus to Kathmandu. Arrived at sunset. Found a hotel overlooking Durbar Square. Grateful. But the mountains were calling.     Honey & Curfew with Hiliry Harvey (Ep. 2)

    Hiliry Harvey was twenty, alone in Rome with a midnight curfew and a dream of auditioning for the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. She had a hundred dollars a month and a tiny room in a pensione that locked its doors at midnight sharp. Most nights she found her way to Da Enzo, a ten‑table trattoria in Trastevere where you found the owner by following the sound of someone yelling his name. One night two strangers sat at her table. One Italian, one German. They invited her to a private club down the street. Guitars on the walls. Then the guitars came down and everyone played until nearly midnight. Hiliry looked at her watch.
