Leadership in our community of executives, entrepreneurs, creatives, and activists is made of ingredients that are rich and plentiful. The creativity we use, the impact we reach for, the inspiration and conversations that bring us together — all of these work together while we heal from the very experiences that call us to be who we are. Pancakes From Scratch is a conversation series hosted by Ernest Comer III sharing powerful stories of our generation’s leading voices on commitment, perseverance, and changing lives. How we help others overcome trauma has everything to do with how we tackle our own.
In this episode of the 'Pancakes From Scratch' podcast, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kimberly C. Walker, a distinguished psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Walker has dedicated her career to alleviating suffering and providing mental health support. However, like many healthcare professionals, she faced significant burnout during the COVID-19 pandemic. This pivotal moment led her to seek new ways to rejuvenate her passion and well-being.
Discover how Dr. Walker's journey led her to Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT), a groundbreaking approach that not only transformed her professional outlook but also unveiled deep-seated limiting beliefs she had carried since her youth. As an African-American woman, Dr. Walker's personal and professional experiences have uniquely positioned her to understand and address the hidden barriers faced by professional women of color.
Join us as Dr. Walker shares her powerful story of resilience and transformation, and discusses how she now leverages RTT in her coaching practice to help others unlock their full potential. This episode promises to inspire and equip listeners with new insights on self-care and breaking through personal limitations.
