He went on to write the acclaimed series, Afterlife, starring Andrew Lincoln and Lesley Sharp. His first produced screenplay was Ken Russel&#39;s Gothic. He adapted Phil Rickman&#39;s best-selling supernatural/crime novel Midwinter of the Spirit as a 3-part miniseries for ITV. He&#39;s author of several books and has won awards for his novels. His most acclaimed novel to date is Whitstable. Here he chats with me about his latest novella, The Confirmed Bachelors. </p>
