This new podcast is a dad and daughter storytelling series highlighting how Gordy came up from the streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn to a life dedicated to God and his community. He is interviewed by his daughter, Mia, whom, inspired by her dad, went from 'the hood' to Harvard.
Girl Dad Gang: Father and Daughter Set to Change the World
Gordy and Mia connect with another Dad and Daughter—Brother Da'ee and Akiya McKnight! Brother Da’ee was formerly incarcerated and is now a Criminal Justice Advocate helping to prevent young men from going to prison and from reentering prison after they have been already. He is particularly focused on Fathers and families. Akiya McKnight is an award-winning producer and writer, changing the landscape in Hollywood.
Both were driven to help others overcome their challenges to fulfill their largest dreams and give back to where they came from.
