Co-hosts Meredith & Sam have been friends since middle school and share a longtime love of horror movies, spooky season, and all things true crime. We dive into cases you know well, and hopefully some you've never heard of. From serial killers, to haunted houses, we offer a sneak peek into the realms of horror and murder with a hint of comedy you can only expect from best friends.
In the second installment of this tragic case, we learn a bit more about our suspect, Sedley Alley, the investigation and his troubling history. Suzanne was appropriately honored and laid to rest with full military honors in Arlington, VA.

Episode 6: Suzanne Marie Collins - Part One
Jack and Trudy Collins adored their two adopted children: supportive and comforting Stephen and his beautiful, bold and bubbly sister, Suzanne. A proud and determined Marine who had an amazing career in front of her. Unfortunately, the Marines would never get to see just how far she could go since just hours before her graduation, Suzanne went on a nighttime run and wasn't in her bed the next morning.

Episode 5: The Tragic Death of Ebby Jane Steppach
Ebby was an amazing young woman who had her whole life ahead of her, and was close with her family, despite a drive for independence and devastating experience. But in 2015 she disappeared, thus beginning an investigation so negligent it makes our blood boil. It's Sam's first solo case and it's a rough one. Still technically unsolved, hopefully one day there may be more answers...and there are definitely some plausible theories. We certainly have some ideas, maybe you'll agree.

In our spooky Halloween special, we hit a bit of a lighter note than usual, touching on some common myths and misconceptions about the holiday itself and some related topics, and even some urban legends that became a little more of a reality for one Texas family in the 70s.

Episode 2: The Abduction of Sally Horner - Part Two
Frank La Salle was a skeezy pedophile who never should have been able to even have the opportunity to kidnap Sally if only he weren't such a slippery slime ball. Sally and her "father" go on a cross-country journey that'll give you nauseating whiplash and land on the opposite side of the country. So buckle up for a wild ride, it won't be a smooth one, I promise.
Also, we want to apologize. The sound is a bit wonky in our intro and about the second half of the episode. We're still figuring out our best set up so bear with us.
