   23. How Nutrition was the Key to Healing her Daughter's Brain Injury - with Darci Hawxhurst

   My guest on today's show will move you into action. She talks about the impacts that food can have on the brain and therefore the body and how she harnessed what she learned to help herself go through a healing process as she found herself hitting rock bottom and dealt with burn out on the journey to healing her daughter.    In today's episode, I talk with Cara Tyrrell, M.Ed, a Vermont based Early Childhood Educator, Collaborative Parenting Coach, and the founder of Core4Parenting™. We talk about what parenting through the pandemic was like for kids and parents and how the methodology that she's so passionate about can help parents navigate what they may have missed our during this period. She talks about the five core executive functioning skills that she believes are key for children to learn, how to handle meltdowns, and how parents dealt with the 'survival period' of the pandemic.
