About Park Church - Plumsteadville, PA

Sermons from Park Church in Plumsteadville, PA. Park Presbyterian Church started as a church plant in 2023 with the vision to see people come to know and love Jesus throughout Bucks County. You will find a gathering of people who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are committed to having a healthy church for the sake of God’s kingdom. A church plant provides wonderful opportunities to utilize your gifts to advance His kingdom. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are sufficient for our spiritual needs, clear to understand, and the final authority for how we ought to live in this life (2 Tim 3:16-17). Therefore we are convinced that the Scriptures must be studied. Above all, though, we believe that the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, points us to our gracious and merciful Savior Jesus Christ (Luke 24:27). It is for this reason that we love studying the Bible. parkpres.com

The story then shi...

September 27, 2026 — Getting the Gospel Right

In Acts 15, the Jerusalem council addresses a dispute between Paul and Barnabas and Judaizers who insist Gentile converts must be circumcised and follow the Mosaic law to be saved. After much debate, Peter affirms that God's grace has already cleansed Gentiles of their hearts through faith alone, declaring that Jesus Christ is sufficient for salvation without any requirement for ritual purity or adherence to the law. James concludes by affirming that while believers should not burden new conv...

   September 20, 2026 — Praise & Persecution

In Acts chapter 14, Paul and Barnabas faced significant opposition in Iconium when they boldly preached the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles, resulting in a divided city where some sided with them while others sought to stone them. Despite this persecution, the apostles continued their ministry by healing the crippled man of Laconia and leading many to faith, eventually fleeing to Derbys where they strengthened the believers' spirits through suffering. The sermon concludes by drawing parallel...
