[…] So we're seeing essentially, you know, Republicans treat Texas not as an insurance policy anymore, but as a real Republican priority. They also, I think, are trying to nationalize the race. So the Republicans' theory of this election is that they can rally Republicans in red states. So the president's going to be basically visiting red states. And the goal is to be able to boost Republican turnout because their thinking is that if they increase Republican turnout, then that's going to be enough to be able to carry them over in states like Iowa, Alaska, Maine, Texas. But obviously that depends on whether or not people are going to buy it. […]
