Party XP is a gaming podcast starring two lifelong friends, Jeff and Lakan, who have a lot to say about the world of video games, movies, TV, music, and all things pop culture. The show generally follows a book club-style format, where the two swap recommendations, but the guys will do special episodes where they break down their all-time favorite games, talk current gaming events, and more. If you're looking for a fun gaming podcast, that isn't afraid to tell the truth about games, look no further.
The guys head back to the dojo on the latest episode of Party XP! This week, Lakan and Jeff check out Dojo Masters, the indie 8-bit fighting game that pays homage to not just games like Karate Master, but to martial arts in general. The guys talk about their favorite martial arts in the game, what the game offers, and how it fits into the greater world of the fighting game community.

Episode 122 - Jeff's Impromptu Parent Talk and Complaints About Not Having Any Free Time
This week, Lakan is traveling, so it's a solo Jeff cartoon. He's none too happy about his inability to play games, thanks to mounting responsibilities like work, childcare, and everything that comes with them. He does have one salvation — trading cards — but even the thrill of opening packs is starting to lessen his desire to play games and compete in fighting games at a high level.
If you're reading this, how are you balancing your time? Are you balancing your time at all? Let us know in the comments! We'll be back to regularly-scheduled programming next week.
At long last, the guys talk about one of Jeff's favorite games in recent memory! This week, Lakan dives into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, the Hades-like roguelite isometric action brawler. The guys talk about their experiences with the game, their favorite characters and builds, how it stacks up to other games like Hades and Dead Cells, and the game's new content update that dropped in between recording sessions.
