Massive episode here bc we disappeared for a month, lmao. Also, you're welcome for three episodes in a week. Anyway, in this week we talk about Will Smith and Chris Rock, Lungol being "a big proponent of violence", and Dylan reflecting on fatherhood as a full-time daddy. We discuss the unconsensual distribution of intimate media in Pasifika communities and the imperial influences of China, Australia, NZ, and the US in the Pacific Islands. Dylan drags some white man for calling for the invasion of the Solomon Islands and Lungol discusses the infrastructure of mental healthcare in PNG.

New szn, new us. Join us as we go back to your regularly scheduled programming with the same segments. Dylan becomes a motivational speaker and turns the tables on our listeners by plying you with advice instead of threats! How good! Lungol, on the other hand, doubles down on his homophobia and drags the queer organised left in Sydney. We discuss PNG's economy in the context of Covid, Fiji's upcoming elections, the invasion of the Ukraine, and so much more.

8: We're in Therapy!
Big trigger warning for mental illness and mass deaths and burials in this episode. 7.2: Punch Them in the Throat (with Wendy Mocke) [Part 2 of 2]
Continuing on from our last episode, Papua New Guinean actor, writer, theatremaker, and bad bitch extraordinaire Wendy Mocke joins Dylan, and Lungol talk cancel culture, Australia and China's imperial influence over the Pacific, and navigating colonial structures in the pursuit to tell our own stories. The tea in this episode is scalding, besties; Wendy reveals that she was the face of safe sex in PNG, Dylan finds out he actually lived in a Papua New Guinean prison, and Lungol sent some lady to the ER because her whiteness was so fragile. This week we send our love and solidarity to our siblings in West Papua and the Solomon Islands.
Make sure to check out "The 'm e r i' project" (linked below) because if you don't, you're racist. Also make sure to spread the word about what's going on in West Papua or else you're racist. Basically do everything we tell you to do or risk being anti-Black and getting punched in the throat, xoxo.

7.1: Punch Them in the Throat (with Wendy Mocke) [Part 1 of 2]
Yes, the rumours are true, we have a celebrity guest! This week we are joined by the incredible, iconic, fabulous Wendy Mocke - Papua New Guinean actor, writer, theatremaker, and bad bitch extraordinaire. We talk "The ‘m e r i’ project", Wendy's groundbreaking exploration of Melanesian Black Womanhood - so check it out IRL at NorthSite Contemporary Arts in Cairns or online (linked below). And don't forget to stand in solidarity with our West Papuan siblings tomorrow on Dec 1!
Together we formed such an unhinged trio that our chaos created a three-hour episode. Lucky for you, we're breaking it up this week so you get TWO whole episodes. Yes, yes, generous kings, we know. Anyway, Wendy drags Americans trying to invalidate our Blackness, Dylan talks misinformation on social media, and Lungol dips his toe into a genre he knows nothing about for a play he chaotically decided to write on a whim.

6: No More Toxicity (with Krystal Elizabeth Juffa)
WE HAVE A GUEST!!! Wow, not us becoming a real podcast… Anyway, this week we have Papua New Guinean and Samoan writer, activist, and environmentalist Krystal Elizabeth Juffa! She joins Dylan and Lungol in discussing relationships, religious misinformation, and body positivity. Krystal shares an experience of a pastor claiming that covid vaccines are unnecessary, Lungol talks about how vaccine scepticism has led to communities in PNG opting out of newborn immunisation shots, and Dylan brings up boundaries in relationships.
This episode has a content warning for discussions around fatphobia.

5: No Politics, Just Vibes
This week we are absolutely wrecked so heavy trigger warning for discussions around mental illness. In this episode we talk COP22, representation discourse, and immaculate homosexual cinema. Dylan gives us a lesson in Fijian History and Lungol brings up a massive rally in Port Moresby of people protesting “mandatory vaccinations” that don’t even exist. Also, just a quick warning, the last third of this episode is absolutely fucking insane and makes very little sense.

4: Not a Slavetrading Ancestor....
So turns out one of our ancestors owned and traded slaves... In this episode we talk about Covid in PNG, life after lockdown, and politicians publicly buying into vaccine conspiracy theories. Dylan highlights fundraisers and mutual aid projects (linked in the show notes) aimed towards alleviating the Covid Crisis in PNG while Lungol chooses violence and drags literally everyone in STEM because he's sick of racism.
Apologies once again for a late upload, this episode was recorded on Monday,October 18, 2021 and was scheduled to be posted on Friday October 22 but is going up two weeks late due to unforeseen circumstances.
