My name is Ally Fernandez. I'm a graduate student, financial professional, and woman in the midst of some grand changes.
In this podcast, I talk to leaders and creators to answer a question - how do we want to lead and create when up against bigger challenges than the world has ever seen? We seek to redefine what leadership means when the old frameworks no longer apply, and share the creative energy that will be required. In fields set up against us - we desire to live passionately, and smash all expectations.
Episode 008: Finding Purpose, Building a Platform, and Embracing Heritage with Liana Morales
In this episode, I talk to my old friend from high school - who since graduating has done nothing but pursue goals and inspire others. We have a serious conversation about our shared histories, what it means to be a leader and have responsibility, and how to honor and embrace where we come from as we continue towards where we are going.

Episode 007: Law of Attraction, Shifting Money Mindsets, and Breaking Generational Curses with Andi Perera
So I learned more about MONEY and MINDSET from this conversation than I learned in all of high school personal finance. What the heck is #forextrading (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/forextrading/) ??
.
Andi is a thoughtful entrepreneur, and in this convo they take all the buzzwords you’ve been seeing on social media ( #lawofattraction (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/lawofattraction/) #manifestation (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/manifestation/) #moneymindset (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/moneymindset/) ) and ground them in their functioning day to day life. I wanted to know how to apply all of these concepts to my life as a working class #GenZ (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/genz/) member! They take a unique and leftist bent to earning money and setting goals, and I had a LOT of questions. But they delivered!

Episode 006: Activism, Honesty, and Creating Powerful Spaces with Nikkhalia McFarlane
In this episode, I sit down with my friend and former coworker Nikki to talk activism, leadership, creativity, and the works. Not going to lie, this episode got completely real, and that's something I am so proud of! No holds barred - coming for the blue checkmarks, bosses, and the like without any hesitation. We discuss how we found our paths to leadership, how we worked around faulty mindsets, and try to map out a direction towards real social change. This is one of my favorites yet!

Episode 005: Creating, Playing, and Failing Spectacularly with Kota Lee
"Every good thing that's happened in my life is because I've been creative."
How do you create spaces for art that don't exist yet? How do you sustain yourself as an artist? How do you bounce back from failure? We tackle these big questions and more in today's podcast episode with my Philly-based, Boston-bound friend from college, Kota Lee. Kota is an actor, musician, and writer who also knows their way around rap, comedy, and tuba playing. All those connections make this a must-listen for creatives of all types!

Episode 002: Poetry, Identity, and Abundance with Kimberly Nguyen
In this episode, I sit down with my friend Kimberly - a fiercely talented poet who has already published her own work and reached the upper rungs of self-publishing in her niche - as we talk about what it means to be a creative in 2020. We talk about classroom and workshop experiences, how identities and backgrounds play a huge role in what we create and how others react to us, and do away with the idea that there is not enough room at the table for poets and creatives of all kinds.
Make sure to listen through to the end so you know how to find her book and find her on social media!
