Past Forward Now is a podcast that celebrates the music, film, and cultural moments shaped by real people who strive to make a difference — for themselves and for others. The show uncovers the personal stories of struggle, growth, and perseverance behind the people who’ve made an impact.
Each episode features a candid, long-form conversation with everyday people — from authors and musicians to actors, doctors, and beyond — whose journeys reflect the power of resilience. From breakthrough moments to setbacks, reinvention, and redemption, Past Forward Now explores what it takes to push through the past and move forward to the present.
This is more than a look back. It’s a reminder that every chapter — even the hardest ones — shapes who we are today, inspiring listeners to face their own challenges with courage and hope.
We sat down with Eddie Deezen and got to get to know the man behind the memorable characters and unforgettable voice.
In this heartfelt and fun conversation, Eddie takes us beyond the roles audiences have loved for decades and shares the stories, experiences, challenges, passions, and moments that have shaped his life and career.
We talk about his journey in entertainment, the people and experiences that influenced him, overcoming life’s speed bumps, finding purpose, and the importance of staying true to who you are.
It’s a conversation filled with heart, humor, nostalgia, and a reminder that there’s always more to someone’s story than what we see on screen.
