Welcome to Pattaya Down Under! Each week, Aida and Aaron take you straight into the heart of Pattaya, Thailand’s most outrageous playground. Whether it’s bizarre local news, nightlife antics, expat confessions, or the everyday chaos that makes this city one of a kind, Aaron and Aida are here to laugh about it, roast it, and tell it like it is.
Expect banter that’s equal parts sharp, cheeky, and unfiltered – because in Pattaya, the stories pretty much write themselves. From tuk-tuk tales to beachside blowouts, Aaron and Aida bring the comedy, the chaos, and the culture clash right to your ears.
If you’ve ever been to Pattaya, dreamed of going, or just love hearing the ridiculousness that happens when East meets West with a hangover – you’re in the right place. Grab a drink, kick back, and join Aaron & Aida for Pattaya Down Under.
This week, we’re breaking down Pattaya’s nightlife —because not all bars are created equal. From the laid-back, open-air beer bars where you’ll probably end up playing Connect Four with a stranger, to the hush-hush clubs with their own brand of mischief, we’ve got the inside scoop.
We’ll take you through the neon-fueled go-go bars (spoiler: it’s a spectacle), and the nightclubs where the real chaos kicks in once the clock strikes “why am I still awake?” Along the way, we’ll drop tips on bar games, haggling like a pro, and a few eyebrow-raising encounters that you’ll either laugh at—or quietly relate to.
It’s equal parts survival guide and comedy show, perfect for first-timers who don’t know where to start, or veterans who think they’ve seen it all. Either way, consider this your roadmap to Pattaya after dark—no judgment, just good stories.

A Totally Different Beast
Strap in, because this week we’re dragging you through Pattaya’s wild nightlife scene—no helmet required. From the infamous Soi 6 and its short-time shenanigans, to the neon chaos of Walking Street, and the beer-soaked jungles of Soi Buakhao, Tree Town, and LK Metro, we’ve got stories that range from hilarious to “did that actually happen?”
We’ll also peek into the clubs of Soi Boomerang and the Dark Side, where things get… well, let’s just say “interesting.” Along the way, expect tips on bar etiquette, haggling without being ripped off, and how to navigate unexpected encounters (because you will have them).
Packed with laughs, personal tales, and more than a few eyebrow-raising moments, this is your guide to surviving—and actually enjoying—Pattaya after dark. Whether you’re a newbie or a night owl pro, this episode will help you party smarter, not harder.
