About Paws to Consider - Sometimes Talons and Beaks
Feedback, stories and scenarios from all things wild and domestic, all things with paws, claws, talons, and beaks. You found a baby animal, now what? Nuisance animal or simply misunderstood? How to protect pets and strays from hot summers and frigid winters. How to help prevent the extinction of some species. Avian flu, lead toxicity, and other threats to animals... and sometimes you. Fielding phone calls as an RVT at a wildlife rehabilitation facility has been fascinating, to say the least, and it has helped carve this podcast, as has working at a small animal hospital.

Ep.10 - Nuisance Animals Or Misunderstood
What lurks in your basement or attic? Nuisance animal? Or, simply misunderstood critter? How to convince that animal to leave without calling pest control. What benefits do these animals bring to your community and the environment? Please note, opossums are not really blind. Their pupils are always dilated, so they are not great at seeing during daylight hours. This will make more sense when you listen to this episode. :)
