She Lost Her Dog… and Created a New Way to Honour Pets | Amanda Andrea, Founder, GreenGoodbye Paws
Saying goodbye to a pet is one of the hardest moments a pet parent will ever face. For many of us, it feels like a sudden full stop - and the grief lingers long after the final farewell.
But what if there was a gentler way to honour their life?
In this heartfelt episode, Amanda Andrea, founder of Green Goodbye Paws, joins us to share Asia’s first pet composting funeral service. This is a compassionate and eco-friendly alternative to cremation and burial.
She opens up about her own experience losing her dog, and how that pain inspired her to build a service that helps pet parents heal, remember, and move with their grief instead of rushing through it.
What you’ll learn in this episode:
What pet composting actually is and how it works
Why more pet parents are choosing plants over urns
How composting transforms grief into new life
Amanda’s deeply personal story behind creating Green Goodbye Paws
How pet parents can process guilt, regret, and the pressure to “move on”
