Wow! We made it to episode 2 and today’s tea was/is classic peppermint. I’ve added some lemon today with my honey and all is well.
Hallelujah Anyhow must be talked about. Psalm 23 must be talked about so why not together… because Psalm 23 is hallelujah anyhow. And we all know the scripture and what it says, but:
I’ve learned connotation and denotation are two very different notations. We may know the valley is a low place but the feeling it gives is different from how it’s defined. When we say the word valley we can just mean a space of trees, usually accompanied by a source of water, almost always with surrounding hills and mountains. But when we hear the word valley- when you know the valley because you’ve been to the valley before, you could feel it as a low depression on Earth, with its potential glaciers surrounded by upward challenges apart of the path.
This is because the valley is between the ranges but not one in itself. It’s a means to end. It’s a space and a place where God grants provision. Faith is revealed in the valley, unexpected abundance is available and emotions grow here but not without a walk on its path.
Walk with me, sip tea with me and reflect on the grace we’ve all received in our time in the valley. Hallelujah Anyhow!

Can you guess the tea today? I decided to brew a blend that includes Georgia sweet with a lil kick because well we’re kind of jumpstarting something today , right? A little extra spice won’t hurt when it comes to this message of Psalms verse that’s inspired by a King’s son. I would say more but it’s probably better that you listen.
In today’s episode we’re going back in time just a little but it all comes together for the good of believers. In this very relatable ten minute message, you have the chance to discover your own inner thoughts and conversations when you’re in a stressful situation because I’ll be sharing mine.

Hot Tea Add Honey Bible Ministry Series: The Psalms and Proverbs Edition- The Intro Message
If you’re expecting this Bible Ministry to ‘look’ a certain way- it will certainly disappoint you. But if you’re looking for something different than many other ministries you’ve found a good place so stay awhile. This is a safe space for you to listen, share and learn more about yourself through my stories, scriptures I select, and what I’ve observed in this life.
In this intro- you get a close up on what this new podcast series is… as well as what it isn’t and why it’s even happening in the first place. Because does the world really neeeeed a new and different version of ministry? Maybe not, but I don’t make the rules and sometimes, only sometimes I may not follow them either. This series is one of those times.
So if you’re anticipating a typical delivery of the scripture or certain proclamation of why I’m the perfect ordained entity you won’t get it. I may not sound like what you had in mind, and while I am moved by the Word, I’m rarely moved by outside opinions. Feel free to leave them in the comments though. Dark or light, good or bad, we possess the choice to express either.
Im human and I won’t be going out of my way to adjust my life to fit in a ministry box. I’m not perfect and I’m okay with moving forward without feeling perfect. You could be too and this ministry can be encouraging for that but it won’t be encouraging me to a point of toxic positivity or not being how do you say it, real? I’m not artificial intelligence- I’m a person with experiences! I want to share those to inspire and awaken.
