1000 km Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 2: Journey Continued
🚴♂️ 1000 km Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 2 | Journey Continued 🙏🌄 Dawn broke at Agasti Rishi Ashram, with the sound of the Pravara River and temple bells setting the tone for another day of devotion and discovery. From Akole’s simplicity to the ghat climbs and forests alive with peacocks, every turn revealed nature’s grace and human kindness. Along the way, we met a 75-year-old cyclist who embodied true fitness and freedom, spoke to hundreds of schoolchildren dreaming fearlessly of their futures, and witnessed countless acts of generosity from strangers who saw our yatra as their own offering to Lord Ganesha. As rain poured and darkness fell near Lenyadri, the first of the eight Ashtavinayak temples, divine timing led us to shelter at Sant Muktabai Temple, reminding us that faith lights the way when torches fail. 🌧️🕉️ Every pedal stroke became a prayer. Every encounter, a lesson. This day was more than distance — it was a journey through humility, gratitude, and grace. 📖 Read the full blog post: 👉 https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-fatherson-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-2-journey-continued/ (https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-fatherson-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-2-journey-continued/) 🎧 Listen to more episodes from The Road Within: A Father–Son Ashtavinayak Cycling Pilgrimage – a story of faith, adventure, and connection. #sunilkhandbahale #ashtavinayak #ashtavinayakyatra #ashtavinayakdarshan #biking #cycling #cyclingadventure #cyclingmonks #fatherandson #pilgrimage #indiatravel #spiritualjourney #ganeshfestival #maharashtra #journeywithin #devotion #selfdiscovery #motivation #travelvlog #roadtrip #inspiration #faith #gratitude #kindness #lenyadri #muktabai #lordganesha

1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 3: Journey Continued
🚴♂️ 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 3 | Journey Continued 🙏🌞 “Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” – Buddha From the humble Sant Muktabai Temple shelter to the serene Vighnahar Ganpati Mandir at Ozar and onward to Ranjangaon’s Mahaganapati, Day 3 unfolded as a tapestry of gratitude, wisdom, and divine grace. 🌄 Along the road, we met Dasharath Jadhav Uncle, a kind elder who, despite never attending school, ensured his granddaughters received the best education — a living lesson in values and devotion. We explored a solar park, discovered the TIFR GMRT radio telescope, and felt the warmth of India’s villages through endless acts of kindness — a glass of water, fresh tomatoes, and smiles that asked for nothing in return. 🌾✨ By evening, the welcoming hands at Ranjangaon Ganpati Temple reminded us once again: the greatest pilgrimage isn’t to the temple outside, but to the temple within. 🕉️ 📖 Read the full blog post: 👉 https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-3-journey-continued/ (https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-3-journey-continued/) 🎧 Listen to more episodes from The Road Within: A Father–Son Ashtavinayak Cycling Pilgrimage — a story of faith, endurance, and the quiet beauty of the road. #sunilkhandbahale #ashtavinayak #ashtavinayakyatra #ashtavinayakdarshan #cycling #biking #cyclingadventure #cyclingmonks #fatherandson #pilgrimage #indiatravel #maharashtra #journeywithin #spiritualjourney #devotion #gratitude #inspiration #motivation #travelvlog #roadtrip #selfdiscovery #ganeshfestival #ozarganpati #ranjangaon #lordganesha #templejourney #spiritualawakening #adventure

1000 km Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 4: Journey Continued
🎧 1000 km Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 4 | Journey Continued 🚴♂️🙏 After three fulfilling days on the sacred roads of Maharashtra, Day Four began with calm hearts and renewed determination. 🌅 We had rested at the serene Ranjangaon Mahaganapati Temple, and as the morning bells rang softly through the air, we readied ourselves for the next leg of our pilgrimage — toward Siddhatek, and perhaps even Moregaon, the fifth shrine in the divine circuit. The early hours shimmered with gold as we rolled through the busy lanes of Ranjangaon — tractors, buses, and bullock carts weaving stories of everyday India. Farmers in white kurta–paijamas sipped tea, their laughter mingling with temple bells and market chatter. But soon, a turn toward Karde changed everything — silence, open skies, and the rhythm of our wheels against the road. 🌾 For miles, the world felt peaceful — green fields on both sides, gentle winds in our faces, and the sweet sense of freedom that only a cyclist knows. At a crossroads near Chinchwad–Siddhatek Highway, curious villagers greeted us, intrigued by our nameplates reading “Ashtavinayak Cycle Yatra.” Smiles and blessings followed at every stop. At one point, Shriram was surrounded by a group of college students eager for selfies — his little moment of fame on the pilgrimage path! 📸 It was a joyful reminder that journeys are not just about destinations, but about connection, communication, and care — both on the road and in life. 🎧 Listen. 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage (Ashtavinayak Yatra) – Day 5: Journey Continued
🎧 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage (Ashtavinayak Yatra) – Day 5: Journey Continued 🚴♂️🙏 The soft chill of dawn wrapped around us as we quietly packed our bikes at Wireless Phata. The little village still slept peacefully after a night filled with songs and laughter. We wanted to leave before anyone woke up to insist — “At least have a cup of tea!” — which would inevitably turn into breakfast and cheerful delays. So, with gratitude in our hearts, we slipped away into the misty morning. The road stretched ahead like a blank page… waiting for the next chapter of our story. 🌄 Our plan for the day was simple yet sacred — first, to seek blessings at Lord Shri Moreshwar’s Temple in Moregaon, and then onward to Jejuri, the abode of Lord Khandoba, our family deity. Though not part of the official Ashtavinayak circuit, Jejuri was calling — a call of faith, heritage, and home. By the time we reached Patas, dawn had painted the sky in shades of gold and rose. Shops were opening, incense smoke curled upward, and the aroma of morning life filled the air. Finding tea that early was tough — but persistence has its rewards. At a tiny roadside stall, we sipped steaming cups of jaggery-sweetened chai — earthy, rich, and soul-warming. With that first sip, everything aligned — the road, the rhythm, the reason. As we turned off the highway, the sounds of engines faded into birdsong. 🌻 Fields of sunflowers stretched endlessly on both sides, their golden faces swaying gently in the morning breeze — as if smiling upon two pilgrims on bicycles. Soon, the farmlands gave way to a reserved forest zone. Signboards warned of leopards and deer — even the occasional tiger — but we felt no fear, only reverence. Nature teaches its own discipline. We pedaled close together, the crunch of gravel blending with the rustle of leaves. Shafts of sunlight streamed through the canopy, painting our path in gold. It wasn’t just cycling anymore — it was meditation in motion. As we emerged from the forest, flocks of baya birds fluttered overhead, their intricate hanging nests swaying like delicate lanterns. We slowed down, awestruck by nature’s craftsmanship — moments that deepened our connection not just to the journey, but to life itself. By noon, we reached the sacred temple of Lord Moreshwar. Beneath a wide, sheltering tree, we parked our bikes and sat in silence. The temple bells echoed softly, mingling with the fragrance of incense. Our darshan was serene — no rush, no crowds, just peace. The temple trustee welcomed us warmly and insisted we stay for prasad — a simple meal of rice, dal, and vegetables that felt nothing short of divine. Every bite carried love… and strength for the road ahead. Before we left, Mr. Rajendra Jagtap, the temple manager, smiled and said, “Your bicycles will love the road to Jejuri.” His words felt like both a blessing and a promise. The road from Moregaon to Jejuri was a cyclist’s delight — smooth, scenic, and filled with the hum of wind. The golden light of late afternoon guided us forward. Shriram, still a bit tired from the previous night’s bhajans, rode quietly beside me. I knew what he needed most wasn’t luxury — just rest, peace, and a good night’s sleep. As Jejuri’s fort temple came into view, glowing atop the golden hill, a wave of emotion rose within us — reverence, fulfillment… and the unmistakable feeling of coming home. 💛 📖 Read the Full Blog Post: 👉 https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-5-journey-continued/ (https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-5-journey-continued/) #ashtavinayakyatra #fatherandson #cyclingpilgrimage #spiritualjourney #ashtavinayak #cyclingindia #jejurikhandoba #moreshwar #faith #gratitude #selfdiscovery #travelstory #cyclingmonks #journeywithin #maharashtratourism #sunilkhandbahale #inspiration #pilgrimage #devotion #hope #biking #mindfultravel A Morning GoodbyeSunrise Over the FieldsThrough the Forest of Silence 🌳The Divine Pause at Moregaon 🕉️Onward to Jejuri – The Hill of Faith ⛰️

1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 6 | Journey Continued
🚴♂️ 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 6 | Journey Continued 🌄🙏 After a vibrant night at Jejuri, we rose at dawn with renewed spirit, rolling toward Theur, the sacred abode of Lord Chintamani, before facing the bustling city of Pune. The early morning breeze, blooming fields, and golden sunlight set the tone for another soulful ride. At Theur, volunteers welcomed us with warm prasad and stories of history, devotion, and hospitality. The wisdom of locals guided us along a safer, scenic route — a reminder that kindness lights even the busiest paths. Crossing Pune brought chaos, rain, and laughter — soaked to the bone, yet feeling alive. Between city streets and puddles, the journey revealed contrasts: serene villages versus bustling urban life, simplicity versus complexity, and the timeless rhythm of pedal strokes teaching patience and perseverance. 📖 Read the full blog post: 👉 https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-6-journey-continued/ (https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-6-journey-continued/) #sunilkhandbahale #ashtavinayak #ashtavinayakyatra #cycling #biking #cyclingadventures #fatherandson #pilgrimage #spiritualjourney #maharashtra #faith #selfdiscovery #travelindia #cyclingmonks #Theur #Jejuri #ganeshfestival #devotion #roadtrip #mindfultravel #inspiration #gratitude #adventure #urbanvsnature

1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 7 | Journey Continued
🚴♂️ 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 7 | Journey Continued 🌄🙏 The final stretch of our 1000 km Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage unfolded with surprises, grace, and divine synchronicities. A flat tire at dawn led us to an unexpected train ride from Pune to Lonavala, a reminder that sometimes life changes routes — not to delay us, but to deepen our journey. From the misty ghats of Lonavala–Khandala to heartfelt encounters with humble souls, every moment became a lesson in patience, gratitude, and faith. At Mahad’s Varad Vinayak Temple, peace filled our hearts, and by dusk, we reached Pali, the sacred abode of Lord Ballaleshwar — our final destination. A mysterious hot water lake, a kind mechanic’s trust, and the soothing rhythm of rain turned this ending into a spiritual awakening. 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 8 | Journey Back Home
🚴♂️ 1000 KM Father–Son Cycling Pilgrimage: Ashtavinayak Yatra – Day 8 | Journey Back Home 🌄🙏 “Every journey,” they say, “has two destinations — the one on the map, and the one within.” After seven unforgettable days of faith, fatigue, laughter, and lessons, our eighth dawn brought not the thrill of reaching somewhere new… but the quiet joy of returning home. Under the fading moonlight of Pali, we began our final ride — a farewell to roads that had shaped us. The soft hum of crickets, the rhythm of our pedals, and the whispers of dawn carried us through forest trails toward Nagothane. Along the way, a humble villager joined us — his old cycle squeaking, his heart full of warmth. It felt less like coincidence… and more like grace. A steaming cup of tea from Mr. Nilesh Bhopi’s stall became a blessing. “This is my offering for your yatra,” he smiled, refusing payment. That single gesture captured the spirit of this entire pilgrimage — kindness without condition. From there, the 7 a.m. train carried us and our cycles through golden fields and shining rivers. The same sun that had seen our first pedal stroke now watched us head home. But the road wasn’t done with us yet. At Kasara Ghat, we rode again — steep climbs, fierce sun, and sacred sweat. Nature rewarded us with waterfalls, lush hills, and laughter as Shriram playfully raced a passing truck. Over a simple lunch at a roadside dhaba, we talked about everything — Ganpati songs, kind strangers, and the joy of simplicity. Each encounter had left an imprint deeper than miles. By evening, fatigue crept in… until a kind tempo driver offered a lift to Vilholi — another small miracle on this blessed path. Shriram’s last wish before reaching home? “Baba, let’s stop at Decathlon!” he grinned — revisiting the store where his beloved Triban RC100 was first chosen. And then… Nashik. The city lights, the familiar roads, and finally — the warm embrace of Sunanda and Rutuja, waiting with joy that words can’t hold. As we stood before our little Ganpati idol at home, we folded our hands in gratitude. The Ashtavinayak Yatra was complete — but the real pilgrimage, the journey within, had only just begun. Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏 Until the next ride… until the next awakening. 📖 Read the full story here: 👉 https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-8-journey-back-home/ (https://sunilkhandbahale.com/1000-km-father-son-cycling-pilgrimage-ashtavinayak-yatra-day-8-journey-back-home/) #sunilkhandbahale #ashtavinayak #cycling #pilgrimage #fatherandson #journeywithin #spiritualjourney #maharashtra #faith #devotion #gratitude #travelindia #cyclingmonks #kasaraghat #nagothane #pali #nashik #lifejourney #mindfultravel #adventure #ganpatibappamorya #selfdiscovery
