[…] So sort of similar process. What advice would you have for a pediatric resident who's sort of looking for that first fellowship and kind of considering a research career? Yeah, so I think give it a go, give research a go. I mean, often within clinical careers, there's a little bit of an opportunity to get involved in things like audits and things like that. So I think it's worth dipping your tear in and having a go for yourself. Think a All of us should be interested in research because the only way we can improve the lives of critically ill children is by having an evidence-based career. And what you learn at medical school is likely to be quite outdated by the time you're 10 years into your career. […]
