Heather McCambly, Associate Professor of Critical Higher Education Policy at the University of Pittsburgh joins the podcast. Heather shares her personal story and her work in researching the ways in which the institutions of academia throughout the country are under attack by the current administration. These attacks that are leveraging the federal funding, research dollars and school accreditations for loyalty pledges to the administration are threatening the very autonomy and first amendment rights of institutes of higher learning. Heather explains how such actions by the federal government are the very definition of fascism and how they lay the groundwork for future generations.
