<p>சேக்கிழார் சிதம்பரம் நடராசர் கோயிலுக்குச் சென்று, அங்கு சிவகங்கைத் தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடித் தில்லை நடராசப் பெருமானை வணங்கி, பின்பு ஆயிரம் கால் மண்டபத்தில் அடியார்கள் முன்னிலையில் இறைவன் "உலகெலாம்" என அடியெடுத்துக் கொடுக்க புராணம் பாடத் தொடங்கினார். சித்திரை மாதம் திருவாதிரை நட்சத்திர நாளன்று புராணம் தொடங்கி, அடுத்த வருடம் சித்தரை மாதம் அதே திருவாதிரை நட்சத்திரத்தில் இந்த புராணத்தினை முடித்தார். </p> <p>இந்த அத்தியாயத்தில் நாம் முதல் பத்து பாடல்களை பார்ப்போம். </p>
