Episode 93 - Uber Rides and Movie Make Up Artistry with Katushia
In this episode, I chat with my friend Katushia aka Uber Girl (whose name I always butcher). She is very dear to me and I loved having her on this episode!
In this episode we chat about:
Her upcoming trip to Bali
Her journey into film and TV makeup and what a typical day looks like for her
How AI can or will change the make up profession in the film industry
How we first met at Project Giggle Water, the origin story behind her nickname “Uber Girl,” and memorable Uber Share chats about topics like Luigi Mangione and wrestling.
Toronto life: holiday bars, the city’s walkability, urban planning comparisons with Montreal, and the eternal Montreal vs. Toronto debate.
The infamous Cheesecake Factory story
Katushia’s Skims obsession
Alexandria's Heated Rivalry trivia victory and more on the Ilya and Shane
Dating in 2026 and why Toronto feels like an introvert’s playground
I hope you enjoy this episode!
