About Philosophical Entertainment

Our Origin Story:Philosophical Entertainment is a concept coined by Alan Watts, who referred to himself as a Philosophical Entertainer. Through listening to Watts, we decided to take up the mantra of making philosophy entertaining again!Science only studies the usual, which is why our objective has been to take uncommon topics (the more taboo the better) and dive into why it makes us uncomfortable. As we settle into our fears, we find that it is what lies behind the heebie jeebies that has us scared; it is death that has us frightened. That being the case, we want to explore death and find out why we feel so unsettled with our own mortality.Philosophers Assemble! Our team of philosophers met through our involvement at The Bridge Improv Comedy Theater. We are all improv actors and students who have a love for diving in to deep conversation and exploring the depths of ideas. We have been utilizing the theater for our live recordings and podcast meetings as well.We invite you to become part of our philosophical team! Feel free to reach out to us and express your interest in joining our team! We\\\’d love to have other\\\’s help us create content and explore these tantalizing topics!

   Ascension with Annie

If you’re not philosophically entertained, our entertainment is only philosophical. Season 5, Episode 6: Ascension with Annie — The Hypno Guide with Fable and Echo Episode Overview In this expansive and thought-provoking episode of The Hypno Guide with Fable and Echo, Danni Armstrong welcomes spiritual teacher and psychic channel Annie Perry for a deep exploration into the concept of Ascension—not as an abstract or fear-driven prophecy, but as a multidimensional process of evolution, awareness, and choice. Beginning with a reframing of the cultural fear surrounding 2012, the conversation opens a new lens: what if the “end” was never about destruction, but about transformation? From there, Annie shares her personal awakening journey—from a highly structured religious upbringing to a rapid and immersive expansion into energy work, psychic channeling, and cosmological teaching. Together, Danni and Annie unpack Ascension as a collaborative process between Earth and its inhabitants, exploring dimensional awareness, densities of consciousness, and the freedom of choice inherent in the human experience. The discussion moves fluidly between the cosmic and the deeply personal, grounding complex metaphysical ideas into practical guidance for navigating emotional upheaval, energetic shifts, and spiritual awakening. This episode also gently addresses the psychological intensity of awakening—acknowledging how easily profound inner change can be misunderstood as instability, while offering grounded, multidimensional tools for maintaining balance, safety, and clarity. As with all episodes in this series, the intention is not to convince, but to invite reflection. Whether listeners resonate with the cosmology presented or simply find value in the language of healing and self-awareness, Ascension with Annie offers a spacious framework to explore what it means to evolve—individually and collectively. Key Topics Discussed Reframing Fear & the Meaning of 2012 – Moving from apocalyptic thinking to transformational interpretation– Humanity’s tendency to default to fear-based narratives– The idea of beginnings disguised as endings Personal Awakening & Spiritual Deprogramming – Annie’s transition from strict religious conditioning to open exploration– The role of travel, solitude, and openness in awakening– Discovering energy, chakras, and subconscious healing– Awakening as a rapid, nonlinear process rather than a slow path Understanding Ascension (Dimensions & Consciousness) – Ascension as a planetary and individual process– Dimensions as states of awareness, not physical locations– Third density vs. fourth density vs. fifth dimensional awareness– Earth’s role in initiating ascension independent of human behavior Free Will, Choice & the Soul’s Journey – Ascension as optional, not mandatory– The “choosing” nature of third-density existence– Service-to-self vs. service-to-others pathways– Why many souls choose to continue immersive experiences elsewhere Spiritual Bypassing vs. Integration – The temptation to escape discomfort by “jumping” to higher states– Why ignoring 3D reality creates imbalance– Integrating love-based awareness into everyday life– Bringing higher consciousness into work, relationships, and responsibilities The New Earth Concept – Earth shifting into a new “resting frequency”– The idea of a gradual transformation rather than sudden change– Changes in society, systems, and human interaction over time– Experiencing glimpses of the “New Earth” through awareness shifts Emotional Upheaval & Energetic Release – Why intense emotions surface during awakening– Stored emotional energy and “resistance” patterns– Physical, mental, and emotional symptoms of energetic shifts– Releasing energy through awareness, intention,

Beak, Bark and Beyond the Veil with Michelle Chason

If you’re not philosophically entertained, our entertainment is only philosophical. Season 5, Episode 5: Beak, Bark and Beyond the Veil with Michelle Chason — The Hypno Guide with Fable and Echo Episode Overview In Beak, Bark and Beyond the Veil, Danni Armstrong sits down with Reiki Master, animal communicator, and past life regression practitioner Michelle Chason for a grounded yet expansive conversation about energy healing, intuitive development, and the consciousness of animals. Michelle shares how her spiritual path unfolded later in life, beginning with Reiki and gradually expanding into animal Reiki, animal communication, crystal healing, and past life regression. What emerges through her story is not a sudden awakening, but a steady unfolding. One modality led to another, each appearing at the right time and deepening her understanding of healing as something both intuitive and practical. A central focus of the episode is Reiki itself. Michelle explains the evolution from traditional Usui Reiki into Holy Fire and Karuna Reiki, describing how placements and ignitions differ from older attunement models. She reflects on the role of intention, the importance of practice, and the understanding that Reiki flows where it is needed rather than where the practitioner assumes it should go. The conversation also explores distance healing, online attunements, and the surprising effectiveness of energy work beyond physical proximity. The discussion then moves into animal Reiki and communication. Michelle recounts the moment she first telepathically connected with her dog during training, and how her intuitive senses developed through experience. She describes how she communicates with animals through automatic writing, heart-centered connection, and quiet listening. Rather than romanticizing the process, she presents it as relational and respectful. Animals choose whether to engage, and their messages often focus on practical concerns, emotional reassurance, and the well-being of their human companions. Listeners will hear thoughtful reflections on separation anxiety, behavioral issues, end-of-life transitions, rescue trauma, and the deep emotional intelligence animals carry. Michelle emphasizes that many animals prioritize protecting their humans from distress, even when recounting their own difficult histories. The episode also explores past life regression and how spiritual experiences can illuminate present-life fears, patterns, and attachments. Michelle shares personal experiences of uncovering a past-life trauma connected to vehicle accidents and how that insight, combined with therapeutic support, helped release longstanding anxiety. The conversation highlights how past life work, Reiki, and intuitive awareness often interweave rather than exist in isolation. Throughout the episode, grounding remains a recurring theme. Michelle speaks candidly about the need for rest, stepping away from social media, spending time in nature, and maintaining balance when working in multiple spiritual modalities. Produced in collaboration with Antara Pathways, Inc., this episode continues the series’ exploration of expanded consciousness while remaining anchored in responsibility, integration, and emotional safety. Key Topics Discussed Reiki Foundations and Evolution – Usui, Holy Fire, and Karuna Reiki– Placements and ignitions versus traditional attunements– The role of intention in energy healing– Distance healing and online training Animal Reiki and Communication – Telepathic awareness and intuitive senses– Automatic writing as a communication tool– Respecting animal consent in energy work– Supporting rescue animals and behavioral healing Animals and Emotional Intelligence – Separation anxiety and reassurance– Preparing pets for life transitions– End-of-life communication and release– Soul bonds between humans and a...

   New Dawns, Old Bond

If you’re not philosophically entertained, our entertainment is only philosophical. Season 5, Episode 4: New Dawns, Old Bonds — The Hypno Guide with Fable and Echo Episode Overview In New Dawns, Old Bonds, Danni Armstrong offers a grounded and expansive exploration of how past life regression sessions unfold, why certain lifetimes emerge, and how soul connections may transcend time, identity, and even species. New Dawns, Old Bonds This episode deepens the framework introduced in earlier conversations by addressing common skepticism around regression work. Danni explores why some individuals report being well known figures, reframing the question through a broader understanding of consciousness. Rather than presenting the soul as a singular, isolated entity, she introduces a field-based model. Lifetimes are described as droplets within streams, streams within rivers, and rivers flowing into a shared ocean of universal awareness. From this lens, regression is not about ownership of a single identity, but resonance within a larger interconnected system. A central theme of the episode is interconnection. Danni explains how lifetimes may be sequential, parallel, overlapping, or accessible through shared consciousness. She encourages listeners to move away from literalism and toward inquiry. The essential question becomes not “Was this real?” but “Why is this experience relevant now?” The emphasis remains on healing, integration, and personal growth rather than metaphysical certainty. The episode also provides a detailed walkthrough of what a typical past life regression session looks like. Danni explains how sessions begin in guided relaxation, how information may arise through different inner senses, and how individuals with varying imaginative abilities can still have meaningful experiences. She emphasizes client autonomy, emotional safety, and the importance of communicating discomfort during sessions. In the latter portion of the episode, Danni explores the appearance of spirit guides, deities, and ascended masters within regression work. Rather than asserting a fixed interpretation, she introduces the concept of collective thought forms and shared energetic constructs, offering listeners a balanced perspective that neither dismisses nor blindly accepts these encounters. The episode concludes with a “Soul Fable” drawn from a client session, illustrating a bond that transcends lifetimes and forms. Through symbolic storytelling, Danni demonstrates how regression can illuminate enduring themes of devotion, unity, protection, and unconditional love. The story reinforces the broader message of the episode: that connection is not limited to a single body, identity, or lifetime. Produced in collaboration with Antara Pathways, Inc., this episode continues the series’ commitment to spiritual exploration that remains emotionally grounded, psychologically responsible, and centered on compassionate integration. Key Topics Discussed Soul as Field of Consciousness – Moving beyond the “orb inside the body” model– Streams, rivers, and ocean as metaphors for oversoul and Source– Interconnected consciousness across lifetimes Why Certain Lifetimes Emerge – Resonance rather than randomness– Shared access to collective threads of experience– Asking what a lifetime is teaching in the present moment What a Past Life Regression Looks Like – Guided relaxation and inward focus– Working with the inner senses– Emotional release as meaningful integration– Maintaining safety and client autonomy Spirit Guides, Deities, and Thought Forms – Encounters with ascended masters and archetypal figures– The concept of collective energetic constructs– Interpreting symbolic experiences responsibly Love Across Lifetimes – Soul recognition beyond human relationships– Devotion, unity,
