Based between Brussels and Ostend, Fady One has spent over a decade carving a unique path at the intersection of civic engagement, musical creation, and artistic mentorship. She is a producer, curator, and promoter, notably for Piknik Elektronik and Zukunft, and manages the independent label Piknik Elektronik Records. Renowned for her percussive, hybrid, and deep sets, she has performed worldwide, from Paris to Hamburg, Bali to Singapore, New York to India, in clubs and on radio. She has introduced audiences to major artists such as Max Cooper, Rone, Parra for Cuva, Traumer, and Kollektiv Turmstrasse, while continuously supporting independent music scenes. In recent years, Fady One has deliberately focused on community-driven and inclusive projects. She channels her energy into Piknik Elektronik, her independent label, and her latest productions, including Ayisha and the hypnotic Heartbreak Desert remix. She performs exclusively at events she curates or organizes, guided by an ethical, open-source, and collaborative approach, reflecting her software R&D work on decentralization, transparency, and collective autonomy. Piknik Protest Elektronik - Numero Cinco

For our 5th edition, we’re doing what we know best: gathering, sharing music, food, ideas and energy, while making our voices heard. Music will be ON. Bring your picnic. Come as you are, bring something to share, and most importantly, share your stories, your experiences and your ideas with us. This is our other way to protest. This is not about being against other organisations, artists or events. It is about the way public space and cultural opportunities are being distributed, and about the progressive disappearance of independent initiatives from the ecosystem we helped build. Stop The Dangerous Monopoly. WHEN CAUSES BECOME COMMUNICATION TOOLS We also want to question the growing use of pink feminism, safe-care narratives and association washing as communication tools. Feminism, safer spaces, inclusion and care are essential values. They should never become a shield against legitimate questions about access to public resources, programming power or conflicts of interest. Supporting these causes does not automatically make an organisation transparent, fair or independent. Real care also means accountability. Real feminism also means questioning power. Real inclusion also means leaving space for others. We believe these values deserve better than being used as branding. #StopDangerousMonopoly #ConflictOfInterest #AssociationWashing #AgainstMainstreamInvasion
