In Luke 14, Jesus tells a story about a table where there is room for people who are often overlooked or left out. On this Discipleship Sunday, we’ll learn together what it means to become a community of belonging by making room for others. Through conversation, reflection, and participation across generations, we’ll consider the barriers that can keep people at the edges and how Jesus invites us to widen the circle so others know there is a place for them. Valued
Every person has value because every person has been created by God with purpose. In this week of Created to Belong, we’ll look at Ephesians 2:10 and explore what it means to be God’s workmanship—created in Christ Jesus for good works—and how that shapes the way we see, value, and make room for one another in community. Seen
What does it mean to truly see someone? Jesus consistently noticed the people others overlooked, ignored, or reduced to labels. In a community of belonging, we are invited to do the same. This week, we’ll explore how being seen reflects the heart of Jesus and how simple acts of holy noticing can help others know they are valued, loved, and not invisible.
