Plans We Make with Son Lux is a unique artist-interviewing-artist podcast where band members Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia, and Ian Chang take turns speaking with guests about a shared theme in three volumes: Technology, Collaboration, and Voice. Process Ep. 2 // Ryan Lott Speaks With Andrew Huang
For the second installment in a three-part podcast series on Process, Son Lux frontman Ryan Lott sits down with musician, producer, educator, and creator Andrew Huang for a conversation about the evolving relationship between technology and creativity.
Together they explore how the tools we use shape the art we make, and how artists can remain intentional as creative technology advances faster than ever before. They also discuss the tension between creating art and creating content, the value of constraints, and why making music remains deeply personal in an increasingly connected world.

Process Ep. 1 // Ian Chang Speaks With Bluecoats Drum Corps CEO Mike Scott
For the first installment in a three-part podcast series on Process, Son Lux drummer Ian Chang sits down with Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps CEO Mike Scott for a conversation about the unlikely and deeply rewarding creative partnership between Son Lux and Bluecoats.
From their championship-winning reinterpretations of “Changes Everything” and “Lost It To Trying” to their newest collaboration built around Son Lux’s new single, “Endlessly”, Ian and Mike unpack the extraordinary mechanics of drum corps performance: the physicality, precision, latency, logistics, and sheer emotional intensity required to bring these productions to life. Process is not just a path toward the finished work, it is the work.
They also discuss the technical and artistic experimentation behind “Endlessly,” including the challenge of translating Son Lux’s sidechain-gating techniques into a massive live marching production, and how the collaboration ultimately fed back into the song itself.
