But because it's not the way they would do it or how they think it should be done, they just want to bash. At the end of the day, the fire department is full of pessimists. I'm telling you, you've got to be an optimist. Hands down, this is the best job in the world if you're collecting a paycheck. If you're doing it as a volunteer, you've said to the general public as well as your peers, I would risk my life for free to do what I'm doing because I love it. So we have to engage these pessimists and stop them right where they are, especially if you get that one person that comes into the firehouse and Or even if you're in the work world and they're just constantly bashing, just look them in the face.
