   STEP INTO HER REALITY

A PERKY x EPIC AFTER Documentary Breast cancer is where PLOT TWIST: STILL ALIVE began. Our very first episode was born from a breast cancer diagnosis, a story that needed to be told, and the realization that surviving cancer and actually LIVING afterward are two very different things. That's why this week, we're sharing something a little different. Something raw, vulnerable, and incredibly important. STEP INTO HER REALITY tells the stories of six extraordinary women. But more importantly, it captures something we don't talk about nearly enough. The AFTER part of a cancer diagnosis. Through a collaboration between PERKY and FIND YOUR EPIC AFTER, six women from different ages, backgrounds, and walks of life came together to show the reality behind the pink ribbons. Stage IV warriors. A previvor. Survivors navigating bodies, relationships, and lives they never expected to have to rebuild. They talk about what cancer takes. The confidence. The intimacy. The relationships. The body parts. The version of themselves they once knew. They talk about sex, dating, scars, and the awkward, heartbreaking, sometimes downright hilarious realities of life after diagnosis. Because cancer doesn't just change your medical chart. It changes your entire fucking world. But here's the PLOT TWIST... This documentary isn't just about what cancer took from these women. It's about what they're choosing to take BACK. Their confidence. Their sexuality. Their voices. Their purpose. Their right to laugh, love, feel beautiful, and LIVE on their own terms. The FIND YOUR EPIC AFTER workshop wasn't about pretending cancer made them stronger or that everything happens for a reason. It was about creating a space for these women to rediscover themselves, connect with one another, and realize that their diagnosis doesn't get to dictate the rest of their story. Because the AFTER isn't always about finding the woman you were before. Sometimes it's about discovering the woman you're becoming. EVERY survivor should watch this. EVERY person who loves someone facing cancer should watch this. And EVERY person who has ever wondered what really happens behind the pink ribbons needs to see this. Six women. Six different realities. One powerful reminder: Cancer may have changed their stories, but it doesn't get to write the ending. Your darkest moments don't define you. What happens AFTER does. SO LET'S MAKE IT EPIC. SPECIAL THANKS To Courtney and Crystal at PERKY, thank you for your incredible collaboration, videography, and for capturing these women's stories with the honesty, vulnerability, and compassion they deserve. And to FIND YOUR EPIC AFTER for creating an experience dedicated to helping women reclaim their confidence, rediscover their purpose, and embrace life beyond diagnosis. Hereditary

FUCK THE PINK RIBBON. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and PLOT TWIST: STILL ALIVE is kicking off Season 2 by going beyond the pink shit and talking about what people should ACTUALLY be aware of. At just 37, Marissa was a wife and mom of two kids under five when stomach issues and blood in her stool led to a diagnosis she never saw coming: COLON CANCER. Unfortunately... that was just the opening scene. Genetic testing revealed links to multiple hereditary cancers—including BRCA—and suddenly family secrets nobody even knew existed started looking a whole lot more sinister. And the further she went down the genetic rabbit hole, the scarier life became. Before ever hearing the words YOU HAVE BREAST CANCER, Marissa faced an impossible choice: amputate her breasts before they became the next sacrifice. Turns out, her DNA came with its own fucking horror franchise. Krystal and Marissa talk cancer, genetic testing, preventative mastectomy, motherhood, reopening grief, and the absolute mindfuck of discovering... SURPRISE! YOU’RE A MUTANT. But Marissa took some of the darkest shit life handed her and turned it into something bigger—advocating, educating, and helping other families understand what could be hiding in their own DNA. Because Breast Cancer Awareness Month should be about a hell of a lot more than pink ribbons. Sometimes the monster isn’t hiding under your bed. It’s hiding in your bloodline. ⚠️ 18+ MATURE CONTENT Cancer, hereditary cancer risk, preventative mastectomy, grief, loss of a parent, medical procedures, and dark humor.

   IT'S A LIVE: Season Finale

SEASON FINALE: PLOT TWIST…WE DID IT LIVE Well, we made it through an entire season without getting canceled, sued, or asked to leave the internet…so naturally, we celebrated by going LIVE. For the Season One finale of PLOT TWIST: STILL ALIVE, Krystal with a K is joined by Adam, Stacy, and Maire for a completely unfiltered look back at the stories, chaos, dark humor, and WTF moments that made this season what it was. And because apparently none of us understand the concept of keeping things private, there are SPOILERS. A lot of them. We’re talking favorite episodes, behind-the-scenes moments, FUCK IT LIST adventures, trolls, swingers (because somehow we always end up back at swingers), the moments that hit us the hardest, the ones that made us laugh until we couldn’t breathe, and some shit we probably should have saved for Season Two. This isn’t a polished little “thank you for a wonderful season” finale. It’s four people, one LIVE show, absolutely no filter, and a celebration of what PLOT TWIST has been about from the beginning: surviving the shit you never saw coming, finding people who fucking get it, and learning to laugh somewhere between the trauma and the plot twist. Season One gave us cancer, grief, toxic relationships, caregiving, survival, trolls, questionable decisions, dead toes, FUCK IT LISTS, and apparently…a surprising amount of swinger content. And somehow? WE’RE STILL ALIVE. Thank you for watching, listening, sharing, commenting, laughing, crying, trauma bonding, and helping turn this beautifully unhinged little podcast into something bigger than I ever imagined. Now buckle the fuck up. Because Season Two is coming. ⚠️ WARNING: This episode contains adult language, dark humor, major spoilers from Season One, conversations about trauma and cancer, and enough inappropriate commentary to remind you exactly why this podcast is 18+. What doesn’t kill you makes you fucking hilarious.
