Conclusion
True worship does not begin with us trying to gain God’s attention. It begins with God—His revelation, His grace, His provision, His holiness, and ultimately His gift of Jesus Christ. We do not worship so that God will become good to us; we worship because He has already been infinitely good to us.
The humble Christian remains in humble service by continually approaching God humbly. Just as wedding vows must be lived out daily, our allegiance to Christ must be renewed daily. God is not merely one priority among many. He is our life, our Lord, and our King.
There should not be a day when we fail to bend our knee, acknowledge who He is, and present Him with a soft heart ready to hear and obey.
Ask yourself:
Have I genuinely worshiped God, or have I only sung songs about Him?
Do I approach God primarily asking Him to fix, provide, and answer—or do I first acknowledge Him as King?
Am I trying to use religious activity to place God in my debt?
Is Jesus merely an important priority, or is He the center and Lord of everything?
Does my posture toward God match the greatness of the One I claim to serve?
When was the last time I physically bowed and spoke words of allegiance to my King?
Is my heart soft enough to hear and obey His voice today?
Have busyness, laziness, pride, or embarrassment caused me to stop bowing?
Final Challenge
Final exhortation: Make this commitment: “I will bow before my King. I will acknowledge His authority, praise His worth, submit my life, and listen for His voice—today and every day.”
