Whether you're a beginner like me or a well-versed literary enthusiast, Poetic Plonk is the podcast for discovering, exploring, and celebrating all forms of literature.

On this episode, we delve into the imperialist world of Rudyard Kipling. Despite Kiplings admiration of colonialism, his penmanship can't be questioned, after all he did publish "The Jungle Book". Join us on this episode where I liken imperialism to a dick measuring contest, compare Disney films and mispronounce Mowgli. So sit back, relax and I'll see you on the next one.

S2, E8: A Most Distasteful Herb
Send us a textEpisode eight revolves all around a herb that is used and lauded in everyday cooking, a herb that some love and some hate. Coriander (cilantro across the pond). I explore the origin story of coriander and how it leeched it's way into cuisines all across the globe. I read an original poem that I wrote about coriander, written from a place of disgust and disdain. I'm not a fan. So sit back, relax and I'll see you on the next one.
