Poetic Resurrection explores creativity, insight, poetry, and the art of being human. Hosted by author and multidisciplinary artist Sonia Iris Lozada, the podcast features conversations with writers, artists, thinkers, and creators, alongside poetic reflections and seasonal themes. From storytelling and creative process to personal evolution and lived experience, each episode offers inspiration, meaningful dialogue, and a genuine look at what it means to live a creative, aware, and wholehearted life.
What happens when achievement no longer defines success? Sonia reflects on Carl Jung’s idea of individuation and the second half of life, along with her own changing relationship with ambition, health, creativity, rest, and having enough. She also reads “Breeze” from Inspire Me: Awakening Dreams, a poem about nature’s cycle of blossoming, releasing, and resting. Perhaps the next chapter isn’t about becoming more successful, but becoming more completely ourselves.

The Still Point: A Promise Kept
What does it mean to keep a promise to yourself?
After completing an entire year of The Still Point Minute, Sonia reflects on the inspiration behind the series—and the very human reality of bringing it to completion. There were days of illness, a disappearing voice, dwindling motivation, and the occasional thought: What the heck was I thinking?
Yet the project became about more than creating daily meditations. It became a promise Sonia had made to herself. We often honor our commitments to others while quietly abandoning the ones we make within. This time, she chose to keep going.
This episode is a reflection on perseverance, stillness, self-trust, and the quiet pride that comes from being able to say: I kept my word to myself.
The episode concludes with a brief meditation honoring what you have completed—and the part of you that continued even when it wasn’t easy.
Many Blessings.
