Original poems written and recited by Tim Windisch covering a range of topics including past experiences, current events, love, loss, and anything else worth writing poetry about.
I have stood firmly upon the shoulders of giants that passed before me, climbed higher into the heads of them and many more, all leading to the words found within. Many thanks to those who touched my life and helped write these selections. Enjoy reading them and your time inside my mind
Gimme a ring
Making love with the stereo blaring
Sunsets together meant forever sharing
But all the bitter endings mad eyes glaring
This situation needs attention and repairing
See we have eyes that are meant to be staring
Through each other’s souls perpetually caring
Babe my heart, my life my soul I am baring
And hear me clear right now babe I am daring
For you to join me in a love beyond comparing
All these end the same, just like I planned
With a ring.

I'm waiting
I’m waiting
I’m waiting, you’re waiting, unexplained delaysconsternating
No elating, fascinating pumped up dreams so rapidlydeflating
I’m waiting
I’m crying, you’re crying, silence gives vibes of no longertrying
It’s dying, instead of flying, no hellos feels like sadgoodbyeing
I’m crying
I’m hoping, you’re hoping, memories and ambitions help coping
Ever doping, no interloping, ain’t another soul I want to bescoping
I’m hoping
Yeah I’m waiting till I’m crying no more
I’m hoping we have something better in store
Yeah I’m waiting till I’m crying no more
I’m hoping for our day, something better in store
I’m waiting

Pie in the sky
Pie in the sky
Since back in ’12, his picture off the shelf
Front and center to her eyes
She dreams of him and cries
One day she’ll pass beyond here herself
So many happy times since way back in ‘88
That big funny man continued to fascinate
Joined with ceremony and golden rings
Poised to share whatever tomorrow brings
And love and laughing together they never lacked
Till that fateful spring when the panorama cracked
Words could not coax comfort to stay
Lament followed her night and day
Good times with family brought smiles and so much cheer
But deep down she only wished that her C-Guy were here
Days stopped and all of us gathered and had a cry
Looking back and sharing memories of Pie in the sky
Knowing two souls dance together in perpetual delight
Makes me smile as I wipe a tear picturing them tonight
Much love to you my dear old friend C-Guy
And to your loving wife, your Pie in the sky
