<p>This summer, we explore themes from popular films alongside Scripture, uncovering how God's truth speaks through the stories we love. From adventure and sacrifice to redemption and hope, each week reminds us that God is present in every part of our story—inviting us into something greater.</p> <p>In our movie this week, A Beauitufl Mind, we see the thin space between reality and delusion. When we look at Scripture there are many of these "thin places" between our phyiscal reality and divine reality. CINEMA SUNDAYS | "Redemption for the Outcasts"
<p>This summer, we explore themes from popular films alongside Scripture, uncovering how God's truth speaks through the stories we love. From adventure and sacrifice to redemption and hope, each week reminds us that God is present in every part of our story—inviting us into something greater.</p> <p>This week, we look at a movie that became popular, first, on the theatrical stage - Les Miserables. Les Miz (as it is commonly refered) is first and foremast a parable. A story that is not true or historical, but invites the listener or watcher into it in such a way that the audience wishes it were true because it is relatable. It also leads the audience to take a step of action. Jesus does the same with his parables that he tells. <p>This summer, we explore themes from popular films alongside Scripture, uncovering how God's truth speaks through the stories we love. From adventure and sacrifice to redemption and hope, each week reminds us that God is present in every part of our story—inviting us into something greater.</p> <p>Everyone remembers the iconic scene from the movie Rocky in which Rocky Balboa bounds up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and looks over the city and raises his voice in victory - a victory he has yet to experience in reality, but one he is now prepared to encounter. This week, Rev.
