How I Rewired My Brain to be Consistent
Have you ever wondered why you can be motivated for a few days… and then completely fall off? In this episode of Poised in Progress, we’re talking about consistency—but not in the typical “just work harder” way. I’ve been studying neuroscience and learning more about neuroplasticity, and it’s completely changed how I think about habits, discipline, and consistency. In this episode, I break down the strategies I’ve personally been using to train my brain to make consistency feel more natural—from connecting habits to emotion, simplifying the things that feel overwhelming, planning without creating unnecessary pressure, and using accountability to actually follow through. And I’m sharing real examples from my own life—from getting back into fitness after stepping away from it to staying consistent with my esthetics business and getting back into podcasting. If you’ve been struggling to stay consistent with your goals, business, fitness, content, or personal growth, this episode is for you. You don’t necessarily need more motivation. You may need a better way to train your brain. 🎙️ LISTEN / WATCH THE FULL EPISODE If this episode helped you, make sure to LIKE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE and let me know: What’s one thing you’re trying to become more consistent with right now? 📖 Prefer reading?I also write about the lessons and conversations from Poised in Progress on my Substack. Follow along as we figure out what it means to grow, build, and become our best selves—without pretending we have it all figured out. #PoisedInProgress #Consistency #SelfDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #Mindset #Discipline #Entrepreneurship #BusinessMindset #Neuroplasticity #Habits

The Advice that changed everything before I went Full-Time
The Advice That Changed Everything Before I Went Full-Time For the first time in a few months, I’m finally back behind the microphone. Taking a break wasn’t easy, but it gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing: clarity. I spent the last few months building my business, preparing for nursing school, and figuring out what I actually want Poised in Progress to be. Now that I’m back, I know exactly who this podcast is for. If you’ve ever found yourself asking… “When will I finally be able to quit my job?” “How do people actually make their business their full-time income?” “What am I missing?” …this episode is for you. Going full-time wasn’t luck, and it definitely wasn’t overnight. It came from changing the way I thought, the habits I built, and the decisions I made every single day. In this episode, I share some of the biggest mindset shifts that helped me stop treating my business like a side hustle and start building it like my future depended on it. We also talk about why most people stay stuck, how distractions quietly delay your success, and one habit that completely changed the way I show up every day. Some of these lessons were uncomfortable to learn. Others completely changed how I approach entrepreneurship. Either way, they’re things I wish someone had told me when I was just getting started. I won’t spoil everything here because I want us to have that conversation together. If you’re serious about building a business that gives you freedom—not just extra income—I think you’ll take away something valuable from this episode. 🎙️ Listen to the full episode here, and let me know which lesson challenged you the most. I’d love to hear what part of your journey you’re in and what “going full-time” looks like for you. See you in the episode, Aria

The Audacity to Claim Your Seat
This episode is both a conversation and a commitment. I’m sharing why I believe some people get ahead because they gave themselves permission to be seen, take risks, and occupy space unapologetically. I’m also stepping into that mindset myself. If you’ve been playing small, waiting, or doubting your place— this episode is your reminder that you don’t need permission to go after what you want.
