Health care utilities, like Civica Rx, are already adding value in the generic prescription drug sector, and the model has applications more widely in areas where low margins often threaten investment.
The Missouri Hospital Association recently partnered with Mindshare Institute, a health care utility incubator, to position Missouri’s hospitals to benefit from advances in the model.
