Democrats’ DHS shutdown backfires as terror threat and TSA chaos grow

On March 1, an immigrant from Senegal, apparently angry over the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran, donned a T-shirt that said “Property of Allah,” grabbed a Koran, a pistol, and a semi-automatic rifle, and headed toward a popular nightlife area in Austin, Texas. There, he shot and killed three people and wounded 14 others before police killed him. On March 12, an immigrant from Sierra Leone who had served years in prison for providing material support to ISIS took a rifle and, yelling “Allahu Akbar,” started shooting as he walked into an Army ROTC classroom at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He killed one person and critically wounded two others before students jumped him and killed him.
#washingtonexaminer #governmentshutdown #tsa #iranusawar #usairanwar Read more here: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/4494944/the-insane-government-shutdown/ #washingtonexaminer
Check out our website: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

How Trump’s war with Iran is quietly reshaping world power

Read more here:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/premium/4446300/why-trump-must-enforce-iran-red-line/

Set aside for a moment the enormity of Iran’s clerical tyranny having murdered tens of thousands of unarmed citizens. Even then, thinking only of America’s national security interests, without considering the moral imperative to stop a historic massacre and punish the perpetrators, it is nevertheless imperative that President Donald Trump should intervene with the U.S. military.

In truth, he has already committed himself to doing so, to punishing the ayatollahs and helping Iranians liberate themselves from nearly half a century of tyranny. The question now is whether he will keep his word or will try to find a way to abandon it. The latter course, which seems less likely, would undermine the nation he leads and betray a people who are begging him to act.

#washingtonexaminer #trump #usiranwar #usiranconflict

Check out our website:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Trump’s fiery state of the union: Populist show or political masterstroke?

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) defended the members of his party who refused to stand after President Donald Trump asked them to stand if they believed native citizens should be prioritized over illegal immigrants at his State of the Union address.

Trump baited Democrats into a public relations blunder during his address by asking them to stand if they agreed that American citizens should take priority over illegal immigrants. All Republicans stood up and cheered, while almost no Democrats did. The president voiced his apparent surprise in the moment.

#donaldtrump #trump #washingtonexaminer #politicalperspectives #sotu

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
