Ai, a politically androgynous and fluid person, may or may not already have a strong opinion on the matter, but either way will engage the question with curiosity, humor, empathy, and an openness to changing her mind. If Arielle and the guest are in complete agreement and she somehow can't find any devil's advocacy to be done, then those episodes will be more like Are WE Missing Something episodes, where the listeners will have to let us know.

Btw, re Michael Jackson: subsequent to recording the intro, which itself was subsequent to recording the episode, I've listened to a podcast that made me think MJ was actually innocent and was indeed helping people to escape. But then, the people on that podcast might be quacks, and I still don't really know what to make of MJ. Also, they mentioned the Diddy case in a way that confused me.
