Pommin' Around is a comedy podcast, hosted by Alex E. Morgan, a British-French comedian navigating life after moving from Paris to Perth. With a mix of humour and honesty, Alex shares his experiences, adventures, and observations about comedy, culture, and the challenges of adapting to Australia. Expect funny takes on life Down Under, stand-up stories, and interviews with comedians from Western Australia and France, as well as deep dives into Australian history, culture, and politics.
Today on the podcast, I'm joined by my good friend Joshua Hauville. Josh was born near Sydney but we met in the English comedy scene in Paris. We dive into his unique comedy style and confidence on stage, his move from Australia to France, how Parisians treated him, and what it’s like being back home Down Under.Josh is performing a cabaret show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival called "Joshy in Paris", and we chat about the lead-up to the show, the behind-the-scenes hustle, and the cultural clash of bringing a Parisian-flavoured show to Aussie crowds. Can’t wait to see the show myself—enjoy the episode, and stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon! This episode sets the tone for future discussions on my adventures, observations, and challenges as a British-French expat in Australia.Find Joshua : Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/somehomo.sapien/Shows : https://tickets.improvpit.com/series/joshy-in-paris/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaeO0fPY6PqPhq9CH9YrOPaK8AOE_q1P9ZCq552d2P-Rb06HMDjAAmNdPbRltw_aem__UvpuwuZbiWLIrBPM4dn8QFind me:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alex.e.morganFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/alex.e.morgan.comedyTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@alex.e.morganYouTube: @alex.e.morganRecorded at the narrm ngarrgu Library and Family Services, Melbourne (VIC)
