According to the World Health Organization's global statistics, one in seven 10- to 19-year-olds experiences a mental disorder. That's about 14%. The percentage is even higher in the United States alone, The National Institutes of Health found that in 2022, nearly 20% of children and young people ages 3 to 17 have a mental, emotional, developmental, or behavioral disorder. The world of missions, of course, is not exempt from such concerning statistics.
