[…] Because the Palestinian people as a collective have experienced this mass displacement and what in some ways flattened those class divisions and in some ways made the Palestinian people, you know, part of one class, even though, of course, those class differences definitely endured and have an effect on the experience of different classes, but maybe you were a landowner in Palestine, but what does being a landowner of Palestinian land mean when your family has ended up living in a refugee camp? You know what I was thinking about was throughout the history of revolutionary theory, there was a lot of back and forth in at least the Marxist tradition around, you know, whether or not you need a fully capitalist society to have a revolution or whether you feudal context and the Palestinian experience actually proposed a third set of conditions from which you can try to launch a revolution and it goes to your point like of one class, right?
